CNN: Lou Dobbs on Credit Cards and War on the Middle Class

Lou Dobbs seeks some answers from a very determined Republican who seems to represent all the “finest” qualities of the Republican Party -- defending big business, defending credit card companies and defending the free market (because by doing so, one can always explain oneself by saying that “it’s all the market’s fault”, can one not?) “Who wrote the bankruptcy law in 2005?... The Republican leadership in Congress ought to be ashamed to its socks and that’s a fact”, says Lou, but as expected, Republicans remain unmoved and so they should.

After all, it is Republicans, among others, who have created a situation in which a regular American can only dream of using debit card, cash or check to pay for products and services and live a debt-free life in the world’s only “economic superpower.” By creating a service based economy (that requires credit cards to maintain surviving standards for the US middle class) and outsourcing well-paying factory/assembly jobs to the third world countries, credit cards have become literally life-saving commodities, because without them, the US economy would collapse in no time while poverty would flourish, and expose all the flaws and mistakes that have been made over the recent decades.

Republicans remain unmoved and so they should, because they will not reclaim the majority in Congress probably ever again -- the likelihood of some kind of revolution inspired by a search for truth, fairness and justice is more probable than the Republican-run United States of America. By remaining unmoved, luckily no more damage can be done.

Fox News promotes Limbaugh’s New Operation Chaos

Thanks to the remarkable flexibility of “Operation Chaos”, Hillary Clinton is no longer the “target” (beneficiary, victim or whatever the objective was in the first place) of Rush’s operation -- Limbaugh’s new “strategery” states that Barack Obama should be the “preferred choice” in the upcoming primaries. The Fox News anchor herself admits that “Operation Chaos is shifting!” and then precisely explains to Republicans what to do next. Whether the new directives will be followed by Limbaugh’s listeners (and Fox News’ viewers apparently, since the network’s full endorsement and promotion of the operation indicates that we’re dealing with one and the same kind of crowd anyway) is yet to be seen.

O’Reilly finally admits what any objective person has known for some time -- Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee for certain and there’s nothing and nobody that can affect the process -- Fox News won’t do it and most importantly the Clinton camp won’t do it. Bill O’Reilly ends the “talking points memo” by telling his viewers what’s coming now -- “That race will be intense and race will be a factor.” No surprise there. Bring it on.

CNN: White Vote Carries Obama in North Carolina

The CNN reporters argue that the substantial white vote for Obama and almost non-existent African-American support for Hillary Clinton in North Carolina appears to be the key to Obama’s success in that state. Fox News: Laura Ingraham Thinks Democrats Are Mad And Furious

Laura Ingraham states that she fully supports Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos”, which is by definition unproductive and self-destructing idea anyway. If a media personality such as Laura Ingraham representing Fox News and anything that the news network stands for says on the air that such an undemocratic operation is totally acceptable, one can only hope that she really means what she says. Laura then continues by saying, “News Flash for the far left -- Fox News is already legitimized!” Maybe so, by themselves, but it’s not a “legitimate” news source and every independently and openly thinking progressive democrat knows it.
